Today we will see in detail the new mini PC KAMRUI E2 in its analysis or review. A computer that mounts the efficient Intel N97 processor.
The small computer KAMRUI E2 offers as engine the Intel N97 (Alder Lake-N) processor manufactured in 10 nm, a chip that has a slightly higher performance than the Intel N100 and N95. This PC has dual video output, a 16 GB SODIMM RAM and a 512 GB 2280 SATA SSD for storage. The operating system installed is Windows 11, but we can install Linux if we want.
Let’s see how it performs in our review and how it fares against its competition.

Description of the KAMRUI E2
The small KAMRUI E2 computer features a design with ventilation slots in the upper area that is illuminated in blue. On the side we have the power button with several USB ports. On the next side we have the rest of the connectors where we highlight its two HDMI ports.
- Ports: 2x USB-A 3.0 / 2x USB 2.0 / 2x HDMI 2.0 / 1x Jack / 1x Gigabit Ethernet.
The top cover is removable and allows us to quickly access its components. We have a SATA M.2 2280 SATA 512 GB SATA and has DDR4 2666 MHz RAM memory of 16 GB in a SODIMM. As cooling we have a fan in the lower area quite quiet.
System and performance
Environment and user experience
We start the KAMRUI E2 by pressing the power button, the front LED lights up. In seconds we get to the Windows 11 Pro 64 bit desktop which is activated when connected to the internet. We have all the drivers installed correctly and we update it without problems with the Windows Update system. The system moves well on desktop, it is a sufficient hardware for office, multimedia and also of light design.
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 64bit / Linux optional.
- Software: No preinstalled apps / Antivirus check = OK.
- BIOS: ESC access / BIOS AMI text / WOL / Auto Power ON / Power ON RTC.

Network, Storage, RAM and Ports
Inside the KAMRUI E2 PC we find a wireless adapter with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 (RTL 8852BE) with acceptable speed and a Gigabit Ethernet network port. The SSD is a somewhat slow M.2 2280 SATA and the RAM comes in a 16 GB SODIMM of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM with Single Channel configuration.
- Wifi: Range 42 dBm / Link 5G 490 Mbps / Bluetooth OK.
Processor and features
Integrated in the KAMRUI E2 we find the Intel N97 (Alder Lake-N) chip manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) that has four cores and four threads that moves up to 3.6 GHz. For graphics we have an Intel UHD Graphics GPU up to 1200 MHz with 24 EU (the N95 has 16 EU). This processor has a low power consumption of only 12 W TDP, double that of the N100 and N95. This computer has sufficient performance for desktop, for use with KODI or IPTV, light editing applications and 2D or light 3D games.
KAMRUI E2 Benchmarks
We spent several performance tests with the KAMRUI E2, the performance as we see is somewhat higher than the Intel N100 and N95, about 15%, but we can not expect miracles. The installed Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU up to 1.2 GHz, as we can see, is limited for running simple games without much 3D.
Thermal and noise
As we can see the KAMRUI E2 has a good performance, the system keeps the temperatures under control with itssilent fanbut it can be improved. At idle it is not very audible and in games it is audible, but not much more noise in all scenarios.
- Consumption: Off 0.9W / Idle 8W / Usage 12W / Max 30W.
- Thermal: 40ºC – 71ºC Max / 69ºC Gaming / CPU 2.8 GHz Max / Performance up to 100%.
- Noise: 38 dBA Max / Variable RPM / Semi-passive.
Gaming
We tested with several games on the KAMRUI E2, the results are in line with this type of GPU integrated into low-power Intel. As we can see Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24 EU is suitable for games in 1080p or 720p quality, it is not suitable for games with a lot of 3D load.
- Setting: Medium quality / 1080p resolution / No VSync / Play emulators with RetroArch.
- On models with integrated Intel HD GPU on low and 720p resolution.
We ran tests on this PC playing the popular LoL with a fairly spare frame rate, for example. In more demanding games like Fornite ta not have good experience. As for emulators at most we stay in some simple Wii, PS2 and similar titles , we can not with demanding 3D emulators.
Video and audio test
Playback tests
As we tested, the KAMRUI E2 has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU that has a VPU with support for HEVC, VP9 and AV1 codecs. We also have support for HDR10 and multichannel audio up to 7.1. This small computer is valid as a multimedia system to use KODI, IPTV or to use it with PLEX.
- Video: 1x HDMI 2.0 / 1x DP 1.4 / HDR10.
- Audio: HDMI up to 7.1 Jack stereo / Dolby DTS.
