I had a good experience attending Chicago State University. The professors were good, the schedule had a nice variety and when I did eat , the food was good. My biggest complaint is probably that when it came to the financial aid and administration side, there seemed to be no cohesion, collaboration and some disorganization. I would still return though. I feel like if they can get people working in the offices that are more knowledgeable, helpful and organized, they would be soooooo much better! I feel like it’s worth mentioning too, that CSU does not receive the support and resources that other universities do and that is unfortunate. All in all, it’s a great choice!

I am currently a student at Chicago State University, undergoing treatment for a brain injury. The challenges of my condition, compounded by added confusion and disorganization at the university, have caused significant stress and severe headaches.
Additionally, I faced discrimination and retaliation after escalating an issue with the university's Child Development center. These experiences have made my time at Chicago State University particularly difficult and have hindered my academic progress.

My overall experience at Chicago State University has been very good. I truly enjoy being there, and getting my education there. I really like how engaged the professors are with the students and their education. I really like the amount of students that are normally in a class. I would like to see more diversity in the college.
